Kid's Activities

TREC's Kids' World of Energy Team will be running hands-on green energy activities for kids of all ages! Learn about the science behind wind energy, experiment with a model wind turbine, and decorate your own pinwheel to start harnessing your own wind energy! Concentrate on conservation, with games such as Energy Scramble and Environmental Twister, and make connections between energy and your everyday life. Kite Making Workshop
Kite expert Skye Morrison will show children and adults how to make their own kites.  All materials provided for free!

Children’s Drag Racing (Bol Racing) 
Children always love running and racing. But what happens when you tie a parachute behind them? It’s a slower race - but much more entertaining!
